On a stormy and foggy night, on the windy Judea mountains, 30 members of B’nai Jeshurun delegation and thirty representatives of Idia groups and met for an evening of studying, experiential exercises practice and a candid discussion on current and strategic topics.
It was an opportunity for all the B’nai Jeshurun members to experience the IDIA method and for each community to become more familiar with each others’ diverse identities and intricacies. The participants learned firsthand of each other’s’ concerns and goals, in the hopes of establishing a long-term connection. It was a meaningful and emotional evening. We experienced the impact that both communities have on each other and the depth of our commitment to our shared destiny.
We left with questions and new understandings, and the wish to further explore and dialogue.
At the end of the evening we were asked to convey our impression in a word. The word that was repeated by many was: HOPE
